FAQs

What is the B1 patch?
It’s the safest, most natural and effective way to help your body process alcohol. Whether you’re tailgating, going to happy hour, or enjoying a fine wine with dinner, don’t drink without using this patch.

How does B1 help me feel better after drinking?
B1, also known as Thiamine, is a vital nutrient in the digestion of carbohydrates, and the breakdown of alcohol in the body. It is also vital to the central nervous system. Because Thiamine is depleted rapidly when breaking down alcohol, replenishing B1 in your system is critical to feeling your best.

Why can't I just take a B1 vitamin?

Your body takes 8 - 11 hours to metabolize food and liquid in the stomach. In addition you will pass, through waste, 60-75% of what you ingested before it ever gets used. To equal the performance of our patch you would need to take a B1 pill every four hours one full day before you started drinking! Our patch is more effective then pills or liquids because it goes directly into your bloodstream and starts working immediately!

Will the B1 patch stop me from getting buzzed?
It will dramatically reduce negative physical side effects from consuming alcohol. You will absolutely notice less symptoms after drinking when you use the patch.

How can the B1 patch help my hangover?
Despite the endless home remedies for a hang over, the only scientific biological way for you to effectively recover from drinking is for your body to fully metabolize all the alcohol ingested and that takes time. Because Thiamine is lost from your body in the breakdown of alcohol, the B1 patch will actually help your body do what it does naturally and process the alcohol more effectively.

Can I put on the B1 patch once I’ve started to drink?
Yes, you can put the patch on at anytime. The patch is effective before, during or after consuming alcohol.

When is the best time to use it?

If you want to extend your sobriety wear the patch prior to drinking, however if you are looking to get really buzzed and want to feel your best the next day then apply the patch just before your night is over.

How long should I wear the B1 patch?

You should wear the patch until the next day.

Can I use the B1 patch 2 days in a row?
Thiamine has no toxicity at high levels so you can not overdose. It is all natural, water soluble and essential to our bodies. Once you have depleted your body's thiamine by drinking alcohol you need the patch. You can wear a new patch everyday!

Where do I apply the B1 patch?
Apply the patch securely anywhere on a dry area of your skin. For best results, and maximum comfort use an area of the skin that is free of hair and more rugged. Best places are the arms, shoulders, buttocks, thigh, stomach. These areas will make the patch easier to remove. The patches are waterproof and will make a strong seal to the body so they wont come off during dancing, sweating etc.

How do I remove the B1 Patch?

The patch will stay on firmly. Do not pull the patch off! Lift each corner and then peel toward the middle. Once you see a side giving more freely then ease the patch off the body. Do not yank or pull the skin!

Why is there a residue mark?

As you perspire the glue will seep through the sides and grab little particles of dust or dirt. This can easily be removed with baby oil or a good washing with soap. The glue is not permeable through the skin so it is not going into your body, rather it stays on the outside.
